The Bucs Jordan Jasper Named Mon-Dak Player of the Week
The Mon-Dak men's basketball player of the week is Jordan Jasper, a 6' sophomore guard from Dawson Community College. During a 103-84 win over Central Arizona and a 95-92 win in overtime over Lake Region, he scored 43 points, had 10 rebounds, 8 assists, and 6 steals. In the conference opener vs Lake Region on Sunday, he had a key steal for a basket and hit a three-point shot to put the game into overtime, then made 4 free throws to seal the win in the extra period. For the year Jordan is averaging 14.4 points, 3.6 assists, 3.2 rebounds and 1.6 steals per game while shooting 51.7% from the field, 41% from the 3-point line and 71.4% from the free throw line. Jordan is from Little Rock, Arkansas and he attended Lisa Academy North.
The Bucs are 16-2 overall and 2-0 in conference play. They will travel to Bismarck ND to play United Tribes Technical College on Sunday afternoon and then Bismarck State College on Monday night.
