Seth Amunrud Named Mon-Dak Conference Player of the Week
Seth Amunrud is the Mon-Dak men's basketball player of the week. The 6'4" sophomore guard from Dawson Community College helped Dawson to two wins over Gillette College and Casper Colleges. He shot 64% from the field, scoring 52 points, had 9 rebounds, 7 assists, and 4 steals in 57 minutes of play.
Amunrud is averaging 21.3 points, 5.8 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game for the 12-1 Buccaneers. He is shooting 58% from the field, 53% from the 3-point line and 86% from the free throw line. He has scored at least 14 points in every game this season except one. He has shot over 50% from the field and 50% from the 3-point line in 10 of their 13 games. He leads the team in scoring, rebounding and steals.
Seth is from Bozeman, Montana and he attended Manhattan Christian High School. He has signed to play at the University of Denver next season.
