Wyoming Utility Coming to Glendive
The Buccaneers recently announced the commitment of right handed Pitcher and Utility player, Allie Rodgers. She will be joining the Buccaneers this upcoming Fall of 2025.
Rodgers, the daughter of Cara and Jeremy Rodgers of Gillette, Wyoming, graduated from Thunder Basin High School in May.
During her time in high school, Allie was a part of the 2023 USSSA State Championship team where she was named Honorable Mention. In 2024, she was First Team All Conference and Second Team All State. Her softball team won state in 2022, 2023, and 2024. Academically, Rodgers has received the Presidential Academic Award from 2020-2025.
When asked why she chose Dawson, Allie said, "I chose Dawson because of the close knit community and Coach Huff's vision for the future. Her belief in me and the team made it easy to make my decision."
Head softball coach, Casey-May Huff, had this to say about her, "We are very excited that Allie chose Dawson. She is the perfect example of what we look for in a player. I believe that she will be able to help not only on the field, but in reaffirming our team culture and by being a helping hand in the community. Allie comes from a good program that knows how to win, which will just contribute greatly to the way that she trains in our program."
