Blankenship Commits to Briar Cliff University
On Saturday January 18th Shelby Blankenship, sophomore from Utah, signed with Briar Cliff University. Located in Sioux City, Iowa, Briar Cliff is a member of the Great American Plains Conference (GPAC). This NAIA conference consists of teams throughout Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota, and North Dakota.
Head Coach Casey-May Huff had this to say about Shelby, "I am so proud of Shelby! She has worked hard for us these last two years, both in the outfield and on the mound. Briar Cliff is extremely lucky to have a player like her!"
Blankenship will be headed to Iowa this Fall where she will continue to study Psychology.
