Dynamic Outfielder from Utah Commits to DCC
The Buccaneers recently announced the commitment of outfielder, Tatyana Toala. She will be joining the Buccaneers this upcoming Fall of 2025.
Tatyana, the daughter of Christy and Tasi Toala of Herriman, Utah, will graduate from Mountain Ridge High School in May 2025.
During her time in high school, Tatyana maintained her place on the honor roll all four years. Fun fact about her, she is bilingual and skipped seventh grade. In spring of 2024, Tatyana was nominated as the Defensive Player of the Year for her high school.
"I chose Dawson because it felt like a home away from home," Tatyana said.
Head softball coach, Casey-May Huff, had this to say about Toala, "Tatyana is a great addition in our outfield. She brings a lot of speed and has a great arm. I have no doubt that she will take care of business in the classroom as well."
