
Bucs Heading into Postseason Play
The Bucs wrapped up the regular season this past weekend in Bottineau North Dakota. The small Buccaneer team led by first year Head Coach Kyle Fultz who stepped in at the semester. He helped the team to the first 20 win season for the first time since 2021. The Buccaneers would win 3 total conference series this year and would split with Bismarck. The Bucs have had a few highlights this season. Ben Reinker won pitcher of the week, Juan Salaverria broke the DCC stolen base record, Adam Korte and Ben Reinker posted a 4-1 record in conference play. The Buccaneers have secured third place in the Mon-Dak conference finishing above fourth for the first time since 2022. With the third place finish the Bucs have secured a home playoff series for the first time in the new playoff format. The Bucs will host Bismarck State College on Saturday May 3rd for a double header at Kolberg Field starting at noon and 2:30. A if necessary game will be played on Sunday May 4th with a 1pm first pitch.
