Baseball Drops Two to Miles

The Buccaneers faced off against Miles Community College in 2 games on Wednesday. Game 1 saw Joel Bever on the mound for the bucs. Bever went 4 innings allowing 7 runs (6 earned) on 4 hits while striking out 3. Cody Mortenson would follow going 3 innings allowing 1 run on 2 hits while striking out 4. The Bucs offense would bring across 1 run on 5 hits. Salaverria would lead with 2 as Jarrett, Hjermstad and fox would each tally 1 hit each. The Bucs fell 8-1. 

Game 2 saw Patrick Reno on the hill to start. Reno went 1 1/3 innings allowing 7 runs on 4 hits. Aaron Tekansik would follow going 1 ⅔ innings allowing 3 runs on 3 hits and striking out 1. Boede Rudd would go 1 inning allowing 2 runs on 1 hit. Salaverria followed with 1 1/3 allowing 8 runs on 5 hits. Finally Proffitt went the final 2/3 inning allowing 3 runs on 3 hits and striking out 1. The Offense brought in 3 runs on 5 hits. Korte would lead with 2 as Turner, Salaverria and Reisdorfer would each tally 1 hit. The Bucs would drop the second game 23-3. 

The Bucs are back at Kolberg field on April 11-12 for 4 games against Lake Region State College.
