The Bucs Get Swept in Series With Williston
The Bucs faced off in a four game series against Williston State College this past weekend. Game 1 would be Ben Reinker on the hill Reinker would go 5 1/3 innings. He allowed 6 runs on 9 hits while striking out 3. Bever would follow going 1 2/3 innings allowing no runs and no hits. The offense would tally 2 runs on 4 hits. Korte led with 2 hits as Jarrett and Proffitt would each have 1. Bykonen and Hjermstad each had 1 RBI each. The Bucs would drop game 1 with a final 6-2.
Adam Korte took the mound in game 2. Korte in 6 innings allowed 6 runs on 2 hits with 2 strike outs. Nyuli would follow going just 1/3 and then Mortenson would finish things up going 2/3 on an inning with 2 strike outs. The Bucs offense brought in 3 runs on 6 hits, Jarrett led with 3 as Salaverria, Phillips, and Proffitt would each tally 1. Ethan Reisdorfer led with 2 RBI's. The Bucs dropped game 2 final score 6-3.
Monday the Bucs would hit the road for the final 2 games. Zaydin Nyuli started game 3. 3 innings allowing 11 runs (3 earned) on 7 hits. Patrick Reno went 1 inning allowing 1 hit and 1 run. The Bucs offense scored 1 run on 4 hits Korte led with 2 as Salaverria and Proffitt each had 1. Deshaundre Turner had the lone RBI. The Bucs drop game 3 final 12-1.
Game 4 Keenan Hjermstad would start on the mound. Hjermstad went 4 1/3 innings allowing 4 runs on 2 hits with 2 strikeouts. Bever would follow going 2/3 allowing no hits and no runs. Jace Jarrett would follow on the hill going 1 inning and allowing 1 hit. The offense scored 1 run on 5 hits. Reisdorfer and Proffitt each had 2 as Hjermstad would pick up 1 hit and the lone RBI. The Bucs dropped the final game 4-1.
The Bucs are back on the road this weekend for the final regular season series against Dakota College at Bottineau.
