DCC Allowing More Fans at Home Games
The Mon-Dak Conference announced today they are loosening some of the spectator restrictions for sporting events. The conference has instituted many protocols to ensure the health and safety of the student-athletes competing as well as the fans watching.
The Dawson Community College Athletic seasons are now in full swing with volleyball and basketball both starting their seasons in January. The Lady Bucs first home volleyball game is set for Saturday night at 7:00 pm vs. Miles Community College. The basketball teams will be back at home on Sunday at 2:00 and 4:00 vs. North Dakota State College of Science.
Previously, DCC was limiting spectators to the first 200 who had reservations and they weren’t allowing any walk-up ticket sales on game day. Now, it will be open to the first 500 fans in attendance. Bucs Club members will get in with their season passes. Other general admission tickets will be sold for $8 at the door. Spectators won’t need to reserve their tickets in advance.
If you would still like to join the Bucs Club you can stop by the college athletic department, Squad Sports, Stockman Bank or Boss Office Products for a brochure or go online at the DCC Athletics website: https://dawsonbucs.com/bucs_club/index
DCC will continue to do temperature checks at the door for every person who enters and will require spectators to physically distance and wear facemasks inside the facility. Surfaces will be sanitized regularly and concessions will be modified to follow health guidelines.
Anyone with questions about tickets or the Bucs Club can call Alex Chase Wolff at 406-377-9466 or email at achase@dawson.edu.
