DCC to Host Summer Basketball Camp
The Dawson Community College Men’s and Women’s Basketball programs will host their annual summer basketball camp June 14 to June 17 for boys and girls. Camp times will vary according to age groups: 7-11 from 8-11am, 4-6 from 11:30-12:30pm, and 12-17 from 1:00-4:00pm.
Some of the daily camp activities will include fundamental skills of dribbling, passing, shooting, rebounding, and defense. There will also be team strategies taught as well. There will be contests, prizes and awards. Each camp participant will also receive a free basketball, t-shirt, camp photo and prizes.
