Lady Bucs Add French Star
The Lady Bucs basketball program recently announced the signing of Lou Nivot-Cocault. Lou comes to Dawson from Tarbes, France where she plays on the top team in the highest U18
league. Nivot is highly skilled in the post as well as on the perimeter. Lou also played on a junior NBA 3x3 team which reached the finals and will be playing for the championship in Paris during
the NBA game to be played in Paris this week.
Her current coach said,"Lou is a defensive leader. She is comfortable in the post as well as on the perimeter and has the ability to handle the ball
and shoot the three point shot. She also leads our team in assists."
Coach Weber is excited to add some height as he continues to bolster the roster for next season. "Lou will add some height and versatility to our roster. She is very skilled and physical, with a
defense first mentality. And she's a winner."
Lou is excited about coming to Dawson. "It is a great opportunity to be a Lady Buc.I can't wait to get to Dawson and meet my new teammates. As a former horse rider the idea of coming to
Montana and Dawson is very exciting and I can't wait to get to campus next fall."
