Bio
Dempster Jackson was born in Chicago Heights, Illinois, and is a graduate of Marian Catholic High School in Chicago Heights. He attended Missouri State University on a football scholarship and earned a Bachelor of Science degree.

Since 2008, Jackson has coached cross country and track & field at the club, high school, prep school, and collegiate levels. He holds certifications as a USATF Level I Coach, USATF Cross Country Specialist, NFHS Level 3 Track & Field Coach, Positive Coaching Alliance Level III Certified Coach, and NASM Youth Exercise Specialist.

While at Phoenix College:
