Buccaneer Track & Field Improves
The Bucs continue to improve as the outdoor track season progresses, with school records continuing to fall.
In his season-opening high jump competition, Aries Lewis cleared a height of 2.03 meters (6 feet 7.75 inches). Zion Jackson-Collins, who set a new long jump record one week ago, sprinted to the top of the records board in the 400-meter run, covering the distance in 51.86 seconds. Raiden Bialorucki extended his discus record to 35.70 meters, while Imari Humphrey established a new women's discus mark with a throw of 29.85 meters.
Sierra Summers improved her 5000m record by 23.67 seconds, finishing with a time of 19:15.89 at the Al Manuel Invitational in Missoula.
