Buccaneers Shine at the University of Mary Scrimmage
If last Saturday's early-season scrimmage at the University of Mary is any indication, the Dawson Community College Buccaneers indoor track and field team is poised to make history this season!
Nikki Roberts, Aydin Jackson, and Danika Lords' top performances showcased the depth of the Buccaneers' talent. Zion Jackson-Collins impressed with a sixth-place finish in the 60m dash, while Isis Keltner earned sixth in the shot put.
The day was also marked by personal or near-personal bests from Fernanda Hernandez, Kelbi Bigsby, Raiden Bialorucki, Sebastian Best, Eric Snell, and Moses Lawrence, underlining the team's consistent progress and determination.
Highlighting the scrimmage, Desiree Smith delivered a standout performance in the long jump, setting a new school record and cementing her place in Buccaneer history.
As the season unfolds, the Buccaneers are ready to redefine the record books and showcase the talent and hard work that defines their program.
