Dawson Community College Head Softball Coach, Casey-May Huff, starts her first year at DCC leading the program. Huff brings with her four years of coaching experience. Prior to coming to DCC, she was the head coach at Dakota College at Bottineau in Bottineau, North Dakota for one season. 

During her season at Dakota College, the Lady Jacks went 13-27-1. While she was there, one of her pitchers was named to the Mon-Dak All-Conference Team. In addition, her '22 team had an overall batting average of .260 with 218 runs scored, 61 doubles, 15 triples, and 196 RBIs. They posted a .327 OBP and a .365 slugging percentage.

Before Dakota College, Huff spent the 2020-2021 season at Southwestern Community College, helping guide the Spartans to a 28-33-1 record, including a 21-23 record in the ICCAC conference. Huff assisted in coaching seven all-region selections, including Paige Shwaluk, Kaitlyn Schad, Madeleine Shwaluk, and Brylee Kemper, who were all named First Team All-Region. Schad was selected as the Region Offensive Player of the Year. In addition, her '21 team holds eight program records, six individual career records, and eight single-season marks. The 2021 squad hit .359 as a team with 483 runs scored, 126 doubles, 19 triples, 81 home runs, and 432 RBIs. They posted a .424 on-base percentage and a .600 slugging percentage. In the circle, her pitchers struck out 361 batters. The 2021 team also finished their season with an overall team GPA of 3.64.

In addition, Huff served as an instructor and housing coordinator at Southwestern.

Before arriving at Southwestern Community College, Huff spent four years at Abilene Christian University in Abilene, TX where she was a graduate assistant coach for the softball team and a graduate assistant in the Communication department from 2017-2019. She was able to work heavily with pitchers and infielders under head coach Bobby Reeves. Other duties in the Communication department included being an instructor for Speech classes and writing her thesis, "Coaching Styles, Athletes' Needs Satisfaction, and Identity: An Analysis of Athlete-Coach Relationship". She also worked in the athletic department as an athletic academic tutor.

Huff played softball for two years at Iowa Central Community College (2013-2015) and later transferred to Abilene Christian University to play her junior and senior years (2015-2017). 

Huff was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
