The baseball team in 2001 went all the way to the NJCAA Division III World Series. Even though other teams have had better records, the 2001 team is still the only baseball team in school history to reach the World Series. The 2001 baseball team finished 33-16, won the Conference Championship as well as the Region Championship and finished 7th place at the World Series. They had 18 players on the team that year and were led by Coach Brent Diegel. Team members include Bryan Aughney, Jeff Bates, Greg Barnett, Troy Brown, Dan Danielson, Jake Havig, Adam Henry, David Kester, Mike Kester, Sean Lane, Josh Lubecker, Alan Mapes, Kevin Perez, Jarod Sampson, Everett Siebert, Scott Sparks, Andrew Van Mark, Doug Vike, Ben Wingenter and assistant coach Zane Gibbons, Shane Bakken and Ryan Sparks. Gary Barnett was named as an NJCAA All-American.
