Dawson Volleyball Adds Montana Athlete

Coach Dina Fritz has announced the signing of Haleigh Henschel of Helena Montana (Jefferson High School). Henschel has been a versatile player for her team over the past few seasons; she has played multiple positions including pin hitter, setter and defensive specialist.

Along with her athletics, she has worked hard in the classroom, which has earned her three years of Academic All-State selections. She also broke their school record for most serves in a row in a game, 17.

Henschel said this about choosing Dawson, "I chose Dawson because the team feels connected and it's kind of legacy in my family."

Coach Fritz says, "I was so excited when Haleigh said she was interested in Dawson, I coached her older sister for two years and I feel it is such an accomplishment and really says a lot about our program when a sibling decides to come and play. Haleigh's versatility of playing multiple positions is going to help us tremendously next year; she works hard and is a team player which embodies what we try to recruit to our program."
