Dawson Volleyball Signs Middle from Whitewater

Coach Dina Fritz has announced the signing of Kendall Scheffelmear from Whitewater Montana. Scheffelmear is a 5'10" middle hitter who has had success in volleyball, basketball and track. In volleyball she placed 3rd at state her Junior and Senior season and in basketball she helped her team to multiple placings at state including a state championship her Junior year, third her Sophomore year, and second her Freshman year.

Among her accomplishments with her team she has received multiple individual honors such as second team All-Conference her Junior season and first team All-Conference her Senior season in volleyball and second team All-Conference her Junior season in basketball.

Scheffelmear also is very accomplished academically, she is her class valedictorian and in National Honor Society and has received Academic All-State honors in all of her sports every year.

She had this to say about choosing Dawson, "I chose Dawson not only because it allows me to continue volleyball but also because of the welcoming staff and team. I know Dawson will be a great learning environment and help me be successful."

Coach Fritz says, "I am excited that Kendall chose Dawson, she is not only a great athlete but a down to earth young lady who is also academically driven. She is the type of player that I love to recruit and have on my team. She knows how to be on a successful team and contribute to that success. I know she will continue on with that success at this next level."
