Dawson Lady Bucs fall to the Bismarck Mystics in Three

The Lady Bucs of Dawson fell in three sets to the Lady Mystics with scores of 11-25, 23-25, and 24-26. Dawson put up a good fight in sets two and three, and just narrowly missed coming out on top in those sets.

The leaders for the game were Scarlette Schwindt with 8 kills, followed by Brittany Kaufman with 7, and Alaina Woods with 5. Reece Fleming led the team in assists with 19, she also led the team in aces with 3 followed by Kaufman with 2. Lauren Rodacker had a great night on the defensive end with 24 digs, followed by Kaufman with 15, and Schwindt with 14. Woods led the night in blocks with 1.

Coach Dina Fritz says, "I was happy with the way the girls competed in sets two and three. It shows that we can play with and have the potential to beat the best in the conference. We just need to keep pushing and moving forward."

The Bucs are on the road next Tuesday and Wednesday, October 10th and 11th, in Williston and Bottineau. Game times are 6:00 PM MST each evening. After that the Lady Bucs are back home on October 13th for Sophomore night against Rocky JV game time is 6:00 PM MST.
