The Lady Bucs of Dawson Community College came up short against the Lady Royals of Lake Region State College in three sets with scores of 13-25, 22-25, and 17-25.

The Lady Bucs were led in kills by Brittany Kaufman and Scarlette Schwindt both with 8. Reece Fleming finished the game with 22 assists and Schwindt led the team with 3 aces. Lauren Rodacker was the dig leader with 28 digs, followed by Schwindt with 14, and Kaufman and Fleming both with 11. Alaina Woods led the team in blocks with 2 followed by Sierra Petesch with 1.5.

Coach Dina Fritz says, "We have to have a short term memory and move on to the next game tomorrow. We have to come out with lots of energy and have the attitude of a competitor for our next game. Tonight was rough but I know we can bounce back."

The Lady Bucs take on North Dakota State College of Science Wednesday, September 27th at 6:00 PM MST in Glendive.
