Lady Bucs Fall to the Lady Pioneers in Four

The Lady Bucs lose a tough four set match at home against the Lady Pioneers of Miles with set scores of 25-22, 22-25, 14-25, and 15-25.

The kill leader for the match was Scarlette Schwindt with 13 followed by Brittany Kaufman with 11. Reece Fleming led the team with 31 assists while Zandora Longtree finished the game with 2 aces. Lauren Rodacker was the dig leader with 21 digs followed by Kaufman with 19, Schwindt with 15, and Fleming with 14. Abi Krantz led the team in blocks with 2.5, followed by Alaina Woods with 2, and Sierra Petesch with 1.5.

Coach Dina Fritz says, "We came out the first set and grinded out the win, then struggled to get things going the rest of the match. This is another learning moment for us, we will get better and recover for our next games."

The Bucs are back in action next week with back to back home games against Lake Region State College on Tuesday, September 26th and North Dakota State College of Science on Wednesday, September 27th. Both games start at 6 PM MST.
