Lady Bucs Get Second Conference Win

The Lady Bucs got their second conference win of the season against the Lumberjacks from Dakota College at Bottineau in three straight sets with scores of 25-10, 25-20, and 25-18.

Leading the team for the Bucs was Scarlette Schwindt with 6 kills, followed by Sierra Petesch with 7, and Abi Krantz with 6. Reece Fleming led the team in assists with 8, while Brittany Kaufman and Schwindt both finished the game with 3 aces a piece. Schwindt was the dig leader with 17 digs followed closely by Kaufman and Lauren Rodacker each with 14. Krantz and Fleming each had a great night at the net finishing with 2 blocks each followed by Alaina Woods and Sierra Petesch each with 1.

Coach Dina Fritz says, "I am happy with the way the team came out and played tonight after having a tough game the night before. Sometimes you can come out slow after an intense game before and they came ready to play. It feels good to get two conference wins going into next week's games."

The Lady Bucs are back at home against Miles Community College next Wednesday September, 20th at 6 PM MST.
