Lady Bucs Bounce Back with Second Victory of The Season

After losing a close two games the day before, the Lady Bucs volleyball team bounced back with a dominating 3 set victory against Minnesota State Community and Technical College with scores of 25- 16, 25-21 and 25-13.

Leading the way in kills were Scarlette Schwindt with 14 and Brittany Kaufman with 13, Schwindt tallied in 5 aces. Reece Fleming led the charge once again with another double double, 25 assists and 13 digs. Lauren Rodacker was the dig leader with 16 and Kaufman pitched in another 10 as well. Sierra Petesch had the lone block for the Bucs and contributed from the serving line with 3 aces.

Coach Dina Fritz says, "I liked the way the team bounced back after yesterday. It was a long day and they played two very tough matches, I was happy with how they came out and handled themselves and got back in the win column."

The Lady Bucs have their first home match against Dickinson State JV on Tuesday August 22 at 6pm.
