The Lady Bucs showed up in pink to support the battle against all cancers affecting women for their annual Play4Kay game and shut down the lady Mystics of Bismarck State , outscoring them in every quarter.

The Lady Bucs built an early lead, but could not pull away from the pesky Mystics. Late in the second quarter the Lady Bucs took control of the game with their stifling defense which led to three consecutive transition scores and Dawson went to halftime ahead 39-31.

The third quarter was more of the same with Dawson forcing more Mystic turnovers and scoring in transition. The Lady Bucs extended the lead to 14 and never looked back.

The Lady Bucs were led by Mckenzi Petersen's 24 points and 12 rebound performance. Kylee Old Elk finished with 12 points and 8 assists and Alaina Woods chipped in with 10 points and 8 rebounds

"We have been really locked in, playing with a sense of urgency the past two weeks. I love the way we're sharing the ball, defending at a high level, and scoring in transition and the half court. We had another game with 20+ assists, and when we do that we are very hard to beat," said Coach Weber following the victory.
