Lady Bucs Cruise to Victory

The Lady Buccaneers took care of business in Bismarck last night beating United Tribes Technical College 92-71. The victory moves the Lady Bucs to 4-1 in Mon-Dak Conference play.

"We've been working hard in practice on our defensive principles and the girls are rising to the challenge. Holding a high-powered offense like that to 22 points in the first half speaks volumes to the girl's commitment to the defensive end of the floor," Coach Mark Weber said after the game.

The Lady Bucs had four players score in double figures led by Kylee Old Elk with 24. Kamariah Hawkins chipped in with 20 and Eirini Chatzinikoli added 14. McKenzi Peteresen, made her season debut also scoring 20 points.

The Lady Bucs travel to Dakota College at Bottineau for another Mon-Dak Conference game then host North Dakota College of Science on Monday, December 4th.
