Four DCC Softball Players Named to Mon-Dak All Conference Team

Brooke Lijewski, Faith McDonald, Stocktyn Stevenson, and Riley Price have been named Mon-Dak All Conference. These four have all played a pivotal role in the success of the Dawson softball program which has a 37-14 record on the season and won the Region XIII Championship. Brooke and Faith are sophomores who have greatly added to the program these last two years. Stocktyn and Riley are freshmen who have been big time starters for the Lady Bucs all season, contributing to their successes on and off the field.
 
Brooke holds a batting average of 0.465. She currently has a total of 67 hits, 16 doubles, two triples, 15 homeruns, 60 RBI's, and five stolen bases. She has been our starting catcher since the start of the conference.
 
Faith is batting 0.469 on the year. She hs 75 hits, 13 doubles, 10 homeruns, 55 RBIs, 10 SACs, and three stolen bases. Faith has been a great pitcher for us as well. McDonald holds 77 strikeouts, 14 wins, and an ERA of 3.75. 
 
Stocktyn has an average of 0.430 with 74 hits, 12 doubles, four triples, five homeruns, 39 RBIs, 28 walks, seven SACs, and 29 stolen bases. Stocktyn has served in many roles for us, both in the infield and in the outfield. Primarily, she has found her place at third base this year.
 
Riley is batting 0.347 with 34 hits, seven doubles, six homeruns, 35 RBIs, 10 walks, and five SACs. Price has 272 strikeouts, 18 wins, and an ERA of 3.11.
 
Head Coach Casey-May Huff stated, "These four are very deserving of this kind of recognition. Their hardwork has paid off tremendously and I can't thank them enough for their efforts! This is a very exciting honor for them and I am blessed to be their coach!"
