The Buccaneers recently announced the signing of infielder, Megan Mizell. She will be joining the Buccaneers this upcoming Fall of 2024.

Mizell, the daughter of Ed and Martha Sanders of Hurst, TX, will graduate from Texas Virtual Academy at Halsville in May 2024.

During her time in high school, Mizell received her IBC Word Certification, IBC Small Business and Entrepreneurship Certification, Security Guard Certification, and IC3 Digital Literacy Certification. She was Vice President of Skills USA, top 10% in her class, and on the Honor Roll. Currently, Megan is the captain of her softball team.

"I chose Dawson Community College because it feels like a second home," Mizell stated, "I loved the softball coach and the team. I really feel that this is where God is leading me!"

Head softball coach, Casey-May Huff, had this to say about Mizell, "Megan is special. I am really glad she chose to take a chance and move up to Montana to become a Lady Buc. Her future is extremely bright and we are grateful God is leading her to Glendive!"
