The Buccaneers recently announced the signing of catcher and utility player, McKynzee Dixon. She will be joining the Buccaneers this upcoming Fall of 2024.

Dixon, the daughter of Brittany and Danny Dixon of Herriman, UT, will graduate from Mountain Ridge High School in May 2024.

During her time in high school, Dixon was named Defensive MVP for the 2023 season and received Athlete of the Month. Kynzee was nominated to First Team All-Region, she was Honorable Mention All-State, and was on the Honor Roll for the majority of her time in high school.

"The first time I stepped on campus it felt right" Dixon said, "the coaches are so nice and welcoming and I love the players on the team."

Head softball coach, Casey-May Huff, had this to say about Dixon, "Kynzee is a perfect fit for our program! She embodies everything we strive for here at DCC, both on and off the field. She is a great person, leader, and softball player. I am looking forward to working with her!"
