6'6 Forward Aries Lewis from Port Allen High School in Louisiana has signed a Letter of Intent to participate in basketball and track at Dawson Community College next year.  Lewis averaged 14 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks per game as a senior while shooting 49% from the field. He is a three-time state champion in basketball and also two time state champion in high jump as well. This year he cleared 6'9 in the high jump at the state championship meet. 

"Aries is going to bring a high motor with a lot of athleticism," shared Dawson basketball Coach Joe Peterson. "He runs the floor well, finishes around the rim and is a high level rebounder. In addition to all of that, he is a winner! I can't wait to see his growth and development on and off the court."
