Dawson nailed 11 three's in the first half and completely dominated the boards to build a 31 point lead fifteen minutes into the game on Sunday afternoon in Bottineau, North Dakota. The Bucs handed the Dakota College Lumberjacks a 93-68 loss to earn their 21st win on the season.

"We came into this game with a great mindset," explained Dawson Coach Joe Peterson. "Every single guy who played gave us a lift. When our bench came in for the first time, we got six straight stops. I especially loved our rebounding effort on both ends and we didn't let up."

Dawson shot 52% from the 3-point line in the first half as six different guys connected from long range, led by Levi O'Brien's four three-pointers. They also controlled the glass, outrebounding the Jacks 29-8 in the first half. The Bucs used 10 turnovers to score twenty points off turnovers. Dawson went into the locker room with a 58-30 advantage after Seth Amunrud made a 3-pointer at the half-time buzzer. O'Brien and Amunrud led the way with 12 points and 10 points respectively.

The second half was a much more even affair as Dawson's shooting cooled off a little and Dakota College heated up a little. The outcome was never in question as the Jacks couldn't get any closer than twenty- five points and Dawson cruised to the easy road win. The Bucs finished with 20 assists on their 32 field goals. They also had a huge advantage on the offensive glass 17-4 and a 46-26 advantage in overall rebounding.

Seven Buccaneers scored at least nine points, led by O'Brien's 18 points on six 3-pointers. He also pulled down 6 rebounds. Justin Asi finished with 15 points. Roniel Oguekwe had 9 points and 9 rebounds.

Dawson will play their final home game on Thursday vs. Williston State College.
