The Mon-Dak Conference men's basketball player of the week is Ty Buckmon, a 6'3'' sophomore guard from Dawson Community College. Leading the Bucs to three important conference wins last week, he shot 53% from the field and 50% from the 3-point line, scoring 67 points. He also had 16 rebounds, 10 assists, and 4 steals. This is the 2nd time this year Buckmon has been named the conference player of the week. Ty is from Woodlands, Texas and he attended College Park High School.

Buckmon and the 10-0 Buccaneers are headed to Gillette, Wyoming this weekend for three big non-conference tests against Gillette College, Western Nebraska and Casper College.
