In game 2, the Dawson Bucs had trouble keeping up with the Miles Pioneers in a 15-4 loss on Tuesday.

Dawson evened things up at two in the bottom of the first inning when Cyrus Richardson singled scoring two runs. Miles pulled away for good with six runs in the fourth inning.

The Bucs totaled ten hits in the game. Cyrus Richardson and Wesley Taveras each had multiple hits for the Bucs. Cyrus Richardson led Dawson with three hits in three at bats.

Coach Pollock had this to say about the games, "game 1 was a tough one. It's frustrating to see your offense have such a productive day, but not be able to compete on the mound. I feel like we let one get away from us there. That's the beautiful thing about baseball though you got to put all the pieces and details together if you want to create a masterpiece, being good at one element of the game isn't good enough. On the bright side we hit the ball really well, played solid defense, and ran the bases at a high level, and I know our pitchers will bounce back."

The Bucs fell to 5-3 in conference play with the losses. They will be back in action Friday, April 14th at home vs Bismarck St. 12 and 3 pm.
