Coach Pollock stated "It was a highly competitive game 1 and almost gave you a post season atmosphere feeling. We pitched it and played defense really well in the hard fought win. We had a little bit of a let down in game 2, mentally. We certainly wanted to sweep the day, but earning a split against a talented team like Williston is still a good day.

The Bucs moved to 5-1 in conference play after the day.
