On Wednesday night, the Lady Bucs volleyball team travelled to rival team Miles City Community College’s gym. The Lady Bucs played a hard fought match, taking the Lady Pioneers to 4 sets. The Bucs came out ready to go in the first set, soaring past the Pioneers 25-18. The next three sets were hard fought battles, with the Bucs coming just short with scores of 25-17, 25-19, and 25-14.
Harlee Speth led the team in kills, with 17. Shayna Baugh contributed 12 kills and 2 solo blocks. Libero Kinzee Koch led the way in digs with 20, and Anniekate Burghdufff was not far behind with 18 digs. Nynah Bryant had 37 assists and 5 digs.
The Lady Bucs have a busy upcoming week with games at Lake Region State College in Devils Lake, ND on October 8th and then North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton, ND on October 9th. Let’s Go Bucs!
