Dawson Community College head volleyball coach Dina Fritz is excited to announce the schedule for the 2018 regular season. This year’s schedule will include two scrimmages, sixteen matches, and four tournaments. The Lady Bucs will be hosting eight games at home this season.
DCC will open their season up with a scrimmage at Rocky Mountain College on the 15th of August followed by a scrimmage at Dickinson State on the 18th. The first regular season game will be at Rocky Mountain College against Rocky’s JV team on August 22nd at 5pm.
The Lady Bucs will also be participating in tournaments at Sheridan College, Colorado Northwestern, Western Nebraska and Lake Region. The first home game of the season will be against Bismarck State on Wednesday, September 12 at 7pm.
Coach Fritz says, “I am excited to get our season started. We had a great year last year and are looking to build off that this season. I have a great group of girls coming back from last year’s team and an eager group of freshmen looking to make an impact on the program.”
After re-instating the volleyball program last year, the Lady Bucs went 11-12 on the season and placed 2nd at the Sub-Regional tournament.
