Stevenson Takes Mon-Dak Player of the Week

The Mon-Dak softball player of the week is Stocktyn Stevenson, a sophomore infielder from Utah.  During a 2-1 week for the Buccaneers, she had a batting average of .727% (8-12), with 1 double, 2 triples, 4 RBI's, scored 6 runs, and 1 base on balls.  She had an on base percentage of .750% and a slugging percentage of 1.182.  

 

"Stocktyn has been due for a weekend like this," Head softball coach Casey-May Huff stated," she is a triple threat at the plate! She can hit, she can slap, and she can bunt. Once she gets on, we are able to do a lot of things offensively, especially with her speed."

 

Stevenson has been starting mostly at third for the Lady Bucs, but she has also seen some games at shortstop and second base. She has been fulfilling a true utility role this year!
