It was a great weekend for the Lady Bucs! The first two games of the series versus Bismarck State College were played in Glendive, finishing as 8-0 and 14-2 wins for the Bucs. 

In the first game, the bottom of the lineup really carried DCC past BSC. Nekysa Wright, Ashley Hammers, and Madi Duke combined for five of the team's 10 hits in the victory. Riley Price struck out 10 batters on the day. The right-handed pitcher also surrendered zero hits and zero ruins over five innings. 

In the second game, Wright had a big showing! She single handedly drove in five runs on three hits. She hit a homerun in the second inning scoring three, doubled in the first scoring one, and doubled in the fourth scoring one. Wright, Hammers, and Duke combined for a total of seven of the team's 14 hits. Faith McDonald earned the win on the mound. The righty allowed four hits and two runs over five innings, striking out six, and walking none.

The third and fourth games of the series versus the Mystics were played in Bismarck, ND, finishing as 18-10 and 11-0 wins for the Bucs.   

In the third game, the Lady Bucs got off to a slow start. Bismarck came in hungry to get revenge. After the first inning, the Bucs were down 7-2. This was established by three home runs hit by the Mystics. After two pitching changes, Price came in and settled things down for the Bucs. The Buccaneers chipped away, scoring every inning, to finish with the 18 run victory.

In the fourth game, Stocktyn Stevenson led DCC at the plate! She collected three hits in four at bats. Stevenson doubled in the first, third, and fifth inning. Shelby Blankenship, Sam Maerz, Lijewski, and Wright all had hits which helped to either score or advance runners. Price did her thing again in the circle, only surrendering one hit and zero runs over five innings. She struck out seven and only walked one.

DCC will be back at home on Wednesday April 10th, versus Dakota College at Bottineau. Game times are scheduled for 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM MST.
