Lady Bucs Start Spring Break Trip with Two Wins

It was a great day for the Bucs as they took on MN North Rainy River in Tucson, AZ. In the first game Brooke Lijewski, sophomore from Wyoming, had a great day at the plate. She collected three hits in three at bats in the first game. Riley Price, freshman pitcher from Nevada, struck out 12 batters, only giving up two hits and one run over five innings of play. Jilliian Johnson, Macie Parenteau, Madi Duke, and Stocktyn Stevenson all collected RBI's during this game.

In the second game, Samantha Maerz singled in the first inning, scoring Shelby Blankenship to start things for the Lady Bucs. Faith McDonald ended up leading Dawson with two hits in three at bats, one being a double. Blankenship started on the mound for the Buccaneers, recording six innings pitched, only allowing three hits, one earned run, and seven strikeouts. 

Next up for the Lady Bucs is a double header versus Pima College on March 13th at 1:30PM and 3:30PM MST.
