After defeating Lake Region State College 8-0 and Dakota County Technical College 4-3 in the opening rounds of the Region XIII Tournament, the Dawson Community College Softball Team is headed into the championship game on Saturday, May 5th.

Dawson will play the winner of Williston State College and Dakota County Technical College.  The Lady Buccaneers was the only team on Friday who did not lose a game.  All teams have to lose two games to be eliminated.  Lake Region State was the first team out of the tournament.

Williston and Dakota County Technical will play at 2:00 pm CST to see who advances to the championship round against Dawson at 4:00 pm CST.  If Dawson wins, they will be the Region XIII Champions.  If they lose, then they will have to play a second game at 6:00 pm to determine who the champions will be due to all teams having one loss apiece.  All games are being held on in Williston, ND at the softball complex on the campus of Williston State College.
