Softball Signs Helena Capital Standout April Davis

Dawson Community College Head Softball Coach Jim LeProwse is pleased to announce that Helena Capital standout April Davis has signed a National Letter of Intent to play softball at Dawson this season.  April is an all-conference and all-state selection for 2018.  April was one of the Bruins top hitters this past season boasting a .475 batting average with 26 RBIs.  April is also a great player on defense. She has great arm strength and blocks the ball really well as a catcher. She does a great job of limiting opposing teams from stealing bases.

Coach LeProwse had this to say, "April is a fantastic addition to our softball program at Dawson. Coach Tami Johnson and I went to the state AA tournament this year and April immediately caught our attention. She plays extremely hard and her focus is always on the game. She also comes from a great high school program at Helena Capital. I expect April to make an immediate impact at Dawson this season. I am extremely happy that she chose to play at Dawson."
