Dawson Community College Head Softball Coach Jim LeProwse didn’t look too far to find his next recruit.  Coach LeProwse was pleased to announce the signing of pitcher Alexa Kappel from Custer County High School in Miles City, Montana.

Alexa has signed a letter of intent to play softball at Dawson next year starting the Fall 2018 season.  LeProwse commented, “Alexa is a solid pitcher, and she will fit great into our system here at Dawson. She has good velocity, good control, changes speed very well and is solid defensively.  Alexa also hits the ball very well.  She is another great recruit from Eastern Montana and will be a great addition to a very talented freshman class next season.”
