DCC Athletic Hall of Fame

The Mission of the Dawson Community College Athletic Hall of Fame is to give appropriate recognition to players, teams, coaches, athletic directors or individuals who have made outstanding contributions in Intercollegiate Athletics at Dawson Community College while reflecting positive values and traditions of the institution.

How to Submit a Nomination
The deadline to submit a nominee or team for Hall of Fame is September 1, with the induction ceremony/banquet set for January/February. The criteria for consideration and nomination form are both available filling out form below or by contacting Dawson athletic director Joe Peterson at jpeterson@dawson.edu.

The categories for consideration include:

1) Student-athletes- must be at least 10 years after they finished at DCC and must have left in good standing

2) Coaches and Athletic Directors- must be at least 5 years after they finished working at DCC

3) Contributors- someone who has shown outstanding service with longevity for DCC athletics

4) Teams- must be at least 10 years after the season they competed

The school’s Hall of Fame Committee will review the Hall of Fame nominees and make its selections by November 1.
