Another Dawson Buccaneer will head to Mayville State for the 2018-2019 school year. Freshman RHP Taylor Harp has signed with Mayville State making him the 4th member of the 2018 squad to do so. Harp hails from Chinook, Montana and attended River Ridge High School.
So far this season he has 4 appearances and a 1.29 era. Pitching coach Eric Kline stated, “Taylor is extremely talented and has a huge upside as a pitcher. The sky is the limit for him and I am very glad he has chosen to continue his career at a place like Mayville State.” Harp also added, “I’d just like to thank the coaching staff at DCC for helping me to this point in my career and I’m excited for what happens next at Mayville State.”
Mayville State is located in Mayville, North Dakota and competes in the North Star Athletic Association.
