Dawson CC Baseball is excited to bolster its pitching staff for the Spring 2018 season with the addition of Hank Boyer.  Hank is a right-handed pitcher out of Wasilla High School (Wasilla, AK), where he earned 1st Team All-State honors as a senior.  “Hank has a knack for getting outs,” says DCC Assistant Baseball Coach Aaron Leanhardt.  Hank hopes to use his opportunity at Dawson CC as a springboard to bigger and better things.  “I chose to commit to DCC because their main goal is to get us seen by bigger colleges and they want us to move to a four-year program as soon as possible,” explains Boyer.  Dawson CC Baseball certainly has the track record to back this up.  “In 2016 and 2017 alone, we have placed 15 players into four-year programs,” says Coach Leanhardt, “and we expect that number to grow by at least another 10 players after we play the 2018 spring season.”
