DCC Baseball adds winter addition

DCC Baseball will be adding another player to the roster for the upcoming spring semester.  Cody Harrison, a RHP/1B from Riverton, Utah, will be joining the baseball team in January.  “First and foremost, you can never have enough pitching, but when you can add a quality arm, it is that much better.  He is a big, strong, physical kid with some athleticism and will add depth at 1B.  On the mound he has a good fastball and has the ability to throw a couple of off-speed pitches for strikes and just tends to live down in the zone.  We are really excited to have him and we look forward to watching him compete,” said DCC Baseball Coach Chris Lewis.

Harrison graduated from Riverton High School where he played all 4 years, earning Honorable Mention All-Region as a junior and 2nd Team All-Region as senior.  Cody also played for The Mountain West Baseball Academy as well as The Mountain West USA Junior Olympic Team.  Harrison said, “I chose to commit to DCC because I love the sport and I want to continue playing for as long as I can and they have given me the opportunity to do so.  I like the way the coaching staff handles themselves and communicates with recruits.”
