Dawson Baseball adds Florida catcher

Catcher Brandon O’Bryant (Boca Raton, FL) will be joining the Bucs for the 2018 season. O’Bryant attended Olympic Heights Community High School where he was part of the 2017 7A-14 All- District team and was also named to the 2017 Palm Beach County 2nd team.  Bucs assistant coach Eric Kline was excited to add more depth behind the plate, “Brandon comes from a baseball rich region and he is hungry for an opportunity to compete at the college level.  We are excited to have him join us for the 2018 season.”

O’Bryant will be the second player on the 2018 roster from the state of Florida.  O’Bryant did not attend college in the fall of 2017 and was proactive in becoming a part of the program.  “The reason I chose Dawson was because of the fantastic family approach the coaches create.  You aren’t just a name but part of a real squad.”  O’Bryant will begin his Dawson career when the Bucs open up February 23rd in Twin Falls, Idaho against The College of Southern Idaho.
