The Dawson County Health Department and the Blue Shield Van are sponsoring flu shots at the Dawson Community College basketball games on Friday night. Everyone is invited to get their shot between 5:00-8:00 pm at the DCC Toepke Center. They will accept any insurance cards. If someone doesn’t have insurance, then Blue Cross Blue Shield will absorb the cost.
Friday’s games are the home openers for the Buccaneer basketball teams. The Lady Bucs will play Northwest College at 5:30 pm and the Bucs will play immediately following at 7:30 pm. Sheridan College will be visiting town on Saturday for games at 2:00 and 4:00 pm.
