DCC Athletics Unveils New Pro-LED Scorer’s Table

The Toepke Center at Dawson Community College received a major upgrade this fall with a new digital scorer’s table.  The new 28 foot long table arrived in September just in time for volleyball season and helps DCC provide a better experience for their fans.  This Pro-LED table provides a bright, seamless display with attention grabbing graphics, videos and advertisements.

The new table was purchased with the help of Stockman Bank and Glendive Coca-Cola.  The two 8-foot side tables have back-lit signs for those two companies while the center 12-foot table has virtually unlimited capability to display player introductions, crowd prompts, messages, advertisements, and commercials.

Athletic Director Joe Peterson was excited about the upgrade. “We are grateful to Stockman Bank and Coke for making this dream a reality.  It is a powerful tool that makes the game day experience much more exciting for our loyal fans.”

The new scorer’s table also has other benefits for the DCC athletic program. “It opens up fundraising possibilities as businesses see the impact this kind of advertising will have, and I’m sure our coaches will utilize it in their recruiting efforts to help attract high quality student-athletes,” Peterson said.  “We already have one of the best junior college facilities in the region and one of the best fan bases.  With this addition, it takes us to the next level!”

Fans will have another chance to see this major addition to the Toepke Center during the final volleyball game of the season on Monday night as the Lady Bucs take on rival Miles Community College.  The basketball season gets started when the Lady Bucs and Bucs compete in an intra-squad scrimmage on Saturday, October 27th at 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm.  Their first regular season home games will be on November 9th and 10th as they host Northwest College and Sheridan College.
